Moving

I can't believe we have finally move! It has been so nice to be in a bigger house. A MUCH bigger house than our condo. We feel like we can finally have people come over :)  Some people have been asking for pictures so here we go. We have, for the most part, finished unpacking. If you care to look, mind you that we have not finnished decorating or up curtains, but it is ours all the same and we love it.

8 months

Here are just a bunch of pics of how the past 8 months have been with Sydney. She is our little princess, her brother and father dote after her. She is usually a very happy baby unless he is hungry or tired (like her mommy). She loves going shopping already! she always seems to quite down and stop being fussy when we go out to shop (dangerous, I know). Sydney is already showing tons of personality! I think we are in for an adventure!

Strawberries

I bought a flat of strawberries the week before we are to move. probably not the best timing :) but I didn't want to miss out on a great deal of delicious strawberries. I made 4 batches of jam froze 3 bags of sliced strawberries and still had enough to snack on and make dessert.

Carter discovered his love for strawberries. For the longest time he refused to eat them and while I was making jam he was joking around that he would be some. I told him to eat it, he did, and he realized how good they are. After that I couldn't get him to stop eating strawberries :)

Devin's Soccer games

Soccer has started! Devin has been LOVING it! He has been in heaven playing soccer with his best buddies. He also loves his coach. He is going to be very sad once soccer is over.

Sydney has been great going to all the games. I think she enjoys the change of scenery and being outside.

I know I embarrass Jake with all my cheering and yelling at the games. I can't help it, I get excited. I hope this is a sport both my boys will get into and stick with because I could get into it as well :)

Devin's 6th Birthday

Devin Turned 6! He had been talking about his coming birthday non-stop. He was planning and inviting friends at school to a birthday party that didn't exist :)

He did get a party with the family and his cousins though. They got to go swimming and have pizza at Grandpa and Nana's house. Devin insisted I hang up the left over baby shower decorations at the house for his birthday.

The cake I made for Devin didn't turn out. It ended up breaking apart so I had to buy a cake.

He had a great time. It was a perfect day.

Aubrey's Baby Shower

Kassie and I threw Aubrey a baby shower for her 1st baby boy. It was a great turn out! I had so much fun. It is always nice to get a break from the kids ;) Devin was loving the balloons and pomp-pomps I was making and thought it was for his birthday. Thanks Kassie for doing it at your house and thanks to everyone who came, you made it an awesome night.

Color Run

Last year I saw pics on Facebook of some friends doing the color run. It looked like so much fun I told myself that I would be doing the next one. I was so glad I did it, even if I was not it running shape :)

Tara, Hollie, Allison, and I all started together. while we were waiting for the race to start, I caught 2 pairs of color run sock :)  Me, who never win anything. I was glad I had Allison as my running buddy! I had to go to the bathroom through out practically the whole race. Finally, I found a burger King and felt a lot better.

Allison and I were both surprised when we made it to the end of the race, we thought that there was still more to go. We had our own mini color throwing party at the end.

I had such a blast that I decided to make this a tradition!

Carter's 2nd grade field trip

Carter's second grade field trip was at the Dolphin Habitat and Secret Gardens. I was able to be a chaperone. It was so much fun! LOVED the dolphins and watching them doing "tricks" (the trainers would say natural behavior).

The guide was so good with the kids. Teaching them about dolphins, starfish, pufferfish, lions, tigers, etc. they ever got to touch a pufferfish, the hair of a lions main, and tiger whisker.

It was a cool trip and was so glad that I was able to share it with Carter!
